Highway 17 Closed from Wawa to Sault Ste. Marie
WAWA, ON – The Superior East Wawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently at the scene of a tractor trailer rollover on highway 17 approximately 14 kilometers South of Wawa. The Wawa Fire Department is at the scene assisting.
Highway 17 will remain closed until further notice.
The OPP are requesting that the public remain away from this area. This will allow crews to work as quickly and as safely as possible. The O.P.P. will distribute details and updates of the road advisory as information becomes available.
