OTTAWA, ON – Today, Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour and M.P. for Thunder Bay-Superior North met with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, alongside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Ottawa.
Minister Hajdu and Prime Minister Gentiloni discussed the strong ties between Italy and Canada and how good jobs and well skilled people lead to a thriving middle class. They also discussed how the strong contributions of Italian-Canadians to Canada, including to Thunder Bay, have fostered more prosperous and vibrant societies across the country.
