5th Annual Green Tradeshow Being Planned

“We are very excited to be featuring the 2012 Chevy Volt as its unique electric design and features make it a perfect fit with the Green Tradeshow. It really is a game changer for the automotive industry and one that people are talking about”CAO Carmelo Notarbartolo, Township of Terrace Bay

TERRACE BAY, ON - Planning for the 2012 Green Tradeshow in Terrace Bay has officially begun and this year’s show is looking like it could be the best yet!

While the 2012 Green Tradeshow is being setup with its regular tradeshow format, we’re thrilled to announce a big addition… This year Terrace Bay’s 5th Annual Green Tradeshow will be featuring the FIRST display model for Northern Ontario of the new 2012 Chevy Volt.

Of course OntarioNewsNorth.com your GREEN daily, local newspaper is proud to be a sponsor of the show once again.  Editor/Publisher Karina Hunter was looking forward to participating at the 2012 show which she believed would once again outdo itself “Sponsorship of the Green Tradeshow just makes sense for OntarioNewsNorth.com, as a green newspaper we are proud to be involved with an event that challenges people to think outside the box in regards to environmental issues while really bringing the ‘green’ movement to people in a way that they can be involved with and take home to put in to practice themselves.”  OntarioNewsNorth.com broadcast the show live in 2011 and is planning to participate in a similar way for 2012.

For videos and more information on the 2012 Chevy Volt, visit www.greentradeshow.ca.  This year’s Tradeshow is being organized for Saturday May 5, 2012 from 12pm to 4pm at the Terrace Bay Arena.  The Township of Terrace Bay is the lead partner for the Green Tradeshow and a dedicated volunteer committee organizes the event.  The planning committee is always looking for more volunteers to assist with the setup of the event and for feedback from the public on what to offer at the Tradeshow.   If the public would like to get involved or provide input, they can contact the Special Projects Coordinator Sean Irwin at spc@terracebay.ca.
