Manitouwadge Public School News

MANITOUWADGE, ON – Saving our environment is very important to all of us – and the students at MPS have jumped on the band wagon to help out.  Recently we told you about the Environmental Club’s Earth Day celebration (See link below) and pictured above you see some of the results of their efforts.

Pictured above, you can see we are expecting a bumper crop of beautiful plants. Also photographed above, the Public School’s Kindergarten class getting a lesson on the life cycle of a butterfly.   This was the initial start up of our butterfly life cycle project that the Environmental Club will nurture and from which the whole school will draw enjoyment and knowledge.  We hope to get a healthy community of butterflies to release into the environment.
