WANTED MALE FROM NOVA SCOTIA ARRESTED, 1 REMAINS AT LARGE

LONGLAC, ON – September 30th 2012, at approximately 6:00pm members of the Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Anishinabek police service received a report of a suspicious male in distress on Lukinto Lake Road.

Police arrived on scene and recognized the male to be David James LEBLANC of Nova Scotia. LEBLANC was wanted for sexual assault and forcible confinement of a 16 year old boy in Nova Scotia.   LEBLANC was arrested and held in police custody. He will appear before video court from the Greenstone OPP detachment on October 1st 2012.

William CUNNINGHAM, also of Nova Scotia remains at large and is wanted for the same charges.  It is believed that he is operating a grey colored 2003 Hyundai Elantra with Nova Scotia Licence plate FBP-233 and could be headed to Calgary.
