NORTHWESTERN, ON – Science North offered summer Science Camps in 28 Northern Ontario communities this summer including Manitouwadge and Wawa. Science North’s exciting, week-long, science day camps are for children ages four to thirteen.
Science North’s Summer Science Camp programs have been a highlight of many Northern Ontario kids’ summers since 1987 providing a unique mix of hands-on science and fun and the extra bonus for kids to see school friends they may be missing and make new friends as well.
In Wawa (this week) and Manitouwadge (last week) there were both French and English camps offered. French Public School Board, CSPGNO, payed the camp fee for any students from their school board to attend the French camps at no cost to their family.
