MANITOUWADGE, ON – February 16th, during the opening ceremonies [Click here for more]of the 2018 Frosty Days Winter Carnival at the Kiwissa Ski Centre, Director of Community Services Shawna Patterson read a nomination letter (video below), describing the qualities and volunteerism of Citizen of the Year Charles Newton. Newton was subsequently presented with a plaque by Mayor Andy Major to roaring applause from those in attendance.
