WAWA, ON – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Superior East Wawa Detachment were called to Michipicoten High School on November 12, 2012 regarding an assault between two students that had occurred on the property. Police viewed video footage and spoke with witnesses including the victim. As a result a 15 year old male youth was arrested and charged with assault. The accused was later released and scheduled to appear in Wawa Youth Criminal Court in January 2013.
