Extra! Extra! Schreiber’s “Angels Monthly” raising funds for Brick by Brick

SCHREIBER, ON – As a class project this year the Gr.5/6 class at Holy Angels School along with their teacher Miss Fischer have taken on the challenge of creating a monthly school newspaper, entitled ‘Angels Monthly’. The students wanted to create something from their perspective that helps unite the home and school. This way if parents miss out on certain activities they can read about it in our newspaper. Every student in Gr.5/6 has a job. There are class reporters, special events reporters, photographers, comic creators, birthday shout-outs, and of course our senior and junior editor. The montlhy proceeds from our newspaper subscription are going towards our board wide social justice initiative, Brick by Brick: Free the Children. We are all working together to raise money to build a school in Kenya. This is just one thing the Grade 5/6 class could do to help build the school.
