Square bubbles from Steve Spangler.com

Ok, this is another one that is absolutely TOO COOL! I know that both the kids (for those of you that aren’t regulars here, my son Lloyd is 14.5 and my daughter Emeraude is 4 so science experiments that appeal to both are not always a given) are going to find this mesmerizing*!

Will post some photos of our own bubble fun, not square ones of course (I think I’m going to have to order some supplies from www.SteveSpanglerScience.com for that) but we do have a ton of new bubble wands, including some giant ones which have been really entertaining. Not just for Emeraude & myself but also everyone at her birthday party – I definetely recomend it as an activity to ANYONE having a child’s birthday party of litteraly ANY age – and here at home with her brother, and Vickie’s kids too who are 7 & 9 years (I think) and were laughing and playing with them quite emphatically (I’ve used that word too many times today but it seems to keep being my only accurate option LOL) not wanting it to ndl

I was surprised that Vickie didn’t play with them, she is so often a kid at heart and the adults at the birthday party had loved them so I am looking forward to the next time we play with them and she is here to see if she can resist again (I’m thinking she may have been too tired and also quite distracted by me being in tears and a considerable amount of pain at the time).

I’ve found a ton of bubble solution recipes online, we will be trying some of them when the solutions we currently have on hand expire. If you try any of them, please come back to post the recipe and results you had with it! Here is a really nice page, I may create a similar one here in my blog when I have some free time – http://bubbleblowers.com/homemade.html
