In October, the Township of Red Rock held a reception at the Red Rock Recreation Centre to acknowledge the work done this summer by the Beautification Committee and their band of loyal volunteers.  After a lovely
ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new gazebo, the entire community was invited to the lobby of the recreation centre for refreshments.

People in the Township have donated most of the $17,000 raised by the Beautification Committee and over 2000 volunteer hours have been spent on 2009 Beautification projects.  The new structures and gardens incorporated into the Park revitalization project will be further complimented by a new water feature in 2010.  The group would also like to raise funds to bring electricity through solar power into the park so musical events and a water fountain can add vibrancy to the lovely green space.

The Beautification Committee will continue to fundraise throughout the  winter.
