The Township of Red Rock, on the coast of Lake Superior, is looking at the economic potential of waterfront development.

Through support of the Northern Communities Investment Readiness Program (NCIR), the community will study the designs, costs and impacts of improving waterfront facilities to accommodate larger vessels, such as cruise and cargo ships.   The study will lead to the development of a strategy to attract investment in the waterfront.
