Community Yard Sale – Mtwdge
MANITOUWADGE, ON – 05.13.10 This Thursday, May 13th, Manitouwadge’s Annual Community Yard Sale was held at the Recreation Centre Arena. Throughout the weeks preeceding the event, residents were encouraged to drop off furniture or household items, in good condition, which they no longer had use for as these would be sold by the Public School to raise funds for the Grade 7 & 8 class trips.
Residents were also able to rent tables to sell their own items and many did so as the yard sale coincided perfectly with Spring Clean-up; between the two events, the week provided an opportunity for residents to completely de-clutter their homes & lives.
