Future JKs explore OLOL
This past week, the soon to be JK’s at Our Lady of Lourdes came for a visit.

The children and their parents were invited to spend the afternoon exploring with their new teacher, a new initiative called Welcome to Kindergarten. “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” guided the children through five centres based on the life cycle of a caterpillar: literacy, letters & numbers, fine motor, creative and nutrition. After a fun-filled afternoon, the children left with a bag full of supplies that would encourage them to re-create many of these activities at home with their parents.
We look forward to their morning visits with Mrs. Milks next week and for them to become official members of the OLOL School family in September.
