Ending the year on a good note

Teacher Pat Lalonde played lead saxophone while conducting the group - no small feat!
MANITOUWADGE, ON – June 16th, MHS Junior Band members treated the community to live entertainment with their end of year concert.
Teacher Pat Lalonde lead the group, in a number of modern musical numbers, band members clearly enjoying the rock theme that was carried throughout. The crowd favourite was, hands down, the Ozzy Ozzborne classic Crazy Train for which a few instrumenet switches were made to the ensemble including the addition of Tyler Sanderson on lead electric guitar and Damilola Bodunde on drums.
At the end of the performance gifts were presented to Michele & Gary Timms and Denis & Joan Lanteigne for their volunteeerism as the groups’ chaperones for a recent trip to Toronto (where they performed at Wonderland).
