This Week at MPS

Manitouwadge Public School Track & Field

MANITOUWADGE, ON – Thursday, June 10 the unkind weather man was unable to stop the staff and grade 4 – 8 students from vigorously participating in their annual Track and Field Meet.

The rain, for the most part held off and didn’t dampen the spirits of these young people. Despite the fierce competition which took place between the athletes, shouts of encouragement amongst competitors could be heard constantly.

Whether you finished first or last in an event, congratulations are in order; good sportsmanship was practiced throughout the day!  Those athletes who placed either first or second in their event will be participating in the Our Lady of Lourdes 2010 Invitational Track Meet Tuesday, June 15th.  Students from across the North Shore will be in Manitouwadge competing against our students.

We wish all students success in the upcoming meet!
