WINNIE THE POOH’S PLAQUE STOLEN

 

 White River’s Winnie the Pooh Plaque Stolen

(WHITE RIVER, ON.) – On June 7, 2010 at 9:40 am Superior East OPP in White River received a report that sometime after noon on June 6, 2010 person(s) unknown had forcibly removed a bronze plaque from its wooden stand. 

The plaque contains the history of Winnie the Pooh and the bear’s relationship to White River.  Total damage caused is estimated at $1000.00.
