2010 Marathon Summerfest Dance

MARATHON, ON – Saturday, July3rd residents from Marathon welcomed neighbours from Pic River,  Manitouwadge and Terrace Bay as well as the participants of the Fish Derby being held in Marathon this weekend to kick up their heels to the sounds of Headliners Wooley and the Mammoths and their Opening Act, Broken Jimmy.

400 Advance tickets had been sold with another couple hundred being estimated to have been bought at the door.  2 lucky winners were recipients of gift certificates from NuVu Auto Glass; 1-$100 Gift Certificate drawn from among those who bought tickets in advance and 1-$50 Gift Certificate draw from among those who bought tickets at the door.

A great night was had by all, Congratulations to Dance Organizer Ray Berube and his team of volunteers including Roger Souckey who managed the beer gardens at the dance and the countless others involved, for a very successful event!
