Chamber to Ammend By-Laws

MARATHON, ON – The Marathon Chamber of Commerce announced two meetings today; these meetings are being held to make ammendments to current by-laws. Member attendance is very important!

Chamber President, Jeannie Allerton, answered this when asked why it was important for all members to attend “Many members who do not always come to meetings have expressed concern that decisions are made with out everyone’s input.  This makes it important that all who can attend come to these two important meetings.   The committee in charge of sliming down and updating our current ByLaws from 1963 has asked for input and received none.   They will be bringing their summary, and suggestions guided by the Board of Trades Act, to the table on September 14th”.
