MARATHON, ON – The evening of Wednesday, June 11^th Marathon and area residents enjoyed a performance by local artists including Keith Johnson and Dan Birchall at the weekly Concerts in the Parking Lot organized by Andrew and Beverlee Coulter, owners of the local Pizza Hut.

Similar to last week’s show, rain chased away spectators near the end of Birchall’s show. Attendance at recent concerts has been lower than previous years though as summer wraps up and people return from camping and vacations away, it is hoped that music lovers will have the Concerts in the Parking Lot on their agendas once again.

Be sure not to miss remaining Concerts in the Parking Lot of 2010, Wednesdays at 7pm in front of the Pizza Hut, bring a lawnchair or blanket and remember to contribute to the can for compensating the artists for their time (all of the artists put on a great show, to ensure we can continue enjoying these performances, please give generously to show your appreciation).
