What we can learn from watching the pros

This past weekend the members of Peninsula Golf Course were treated to watching Touring professionals.  Six Professionals came out to battle it out for $15,000 in skin money.  The one thing you may have noticed, is not just how far or consistently they could hit the golf ball, but more importantly how many shots they save by having a good short game.   Statistics has shown that over 80% of your golf shots come from 100 yards or in.  Therefore, 80% of your practice should be on this part of your game.  If you want to knock off 4-5 shots off your score, practice your putting, chipping, and pitch shots.  This is the easiest way to lower your score without making any changes to your golf swing.  Good luck!
