Manitouwadge Bar Opens to Teens

[cincopa AQHAkRKGM34a] MANITOUWADGE, ON – Kim & Guy Desjardins, owners of KG’s Bar & Lounge are offering teens an opportunity to enjoy their local pub and parents are in support.  In an effort to diversify the services they offer to the community, the Desjardins saw an opportunity, Sunday evenings when adults were not frequenting the lounge in great numbers, to let teens have some fun.

From 5 to 10pm Sundays, KG’s Bar and Lounge closes its doors to adults welcoming kids from 12-16 (NOT 13-18 AS I HAD ERRONEOUSLY PUBLISHED ORIGINALLY – Thanks Kristy!) to come in and enjoy finger foods, good company, billiards and of course dancing.  KG’s is also Manitouwadge’s free wireless internet access point and so kids can use the internet to choose the most recent hits they enjoy to listen and dance to.

The event is becoming more popular every week, quickly becoming one of the busier nights at KG’s, meanwhile parents are glad to know where their kids are and that they are supervised while enjoying themselves at this non-alcoholic weekly event. If you’d like more information about this or other events at either KG’s Bar & Lounge or the Down Under Lounge also owned and operated by the Desjardins, stop by during regular business hours or call 826-4554.
