Manitouwadge Murder Mystery

MANITOUWADGE, ON – Tickets went on sale last Thursday for Manitouwadge’s first Community Muder Mystery Dinner Theatre. “Murder at the Four Deuces” is one of the most ambitious projects which Shawna Patterson has undertaken since beginning her position as Community Programmer this summer.

Patterson has, in organizing the event, worked as script author, casting director, acting director, promoter, and more; all this may seem like a lot for one person but she is taking it in stride and very much looking forward to watching the evening unfold, “I am thrilled to be presenting something new in the community for adults to have a fun night out” said Patterson, adding that “I thought a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre would be an interesting adventure and an exciting evening for those in the cast as well as in the audience.”

There is no dress code for the event though attendees are encouraged, to follow the 1920’s theme when choosing their wardrobe for the evening.  Murder at the Four Deuces Mystery Theatre tickets are $25 and include the catered dinner, traditional or virgin martini, dessert and live entertainment (the show), they are available at Manitouwadge’s municipal office. Northshore neighbours interested in purchasing tickets to attend, should contact Patterson at the township.

The cast is in place, being comprised of volunteers who came forward when Patterson originally announced the initiative last month in the township’s monthly newsletter, the Forecaster.  The group will be having two rehearsals this week with a full dress rehearsal at the second on Thursday.

Murder at the Four Deuces Dinner Theatre promises to be an unforgettable evening which attendees will not soon forget!
