Addiction comes in many shapes and forms. Anything addicting is ‘fun’ or it wouldn’t be addicting. Whether it is dancing, eating, shopping, no matter what it is, if it is something we enjoy.
This past week I met an amazing local woman at a social event who ran 10 km that morning. If you remember last Friday morning, it wasn’t the warmest, with medium-high winds and a chill. Now, I’m a Fytness Fanatik and I don’t have the lung capacity to accomplish such a feat. My addiction is weight lifting because to me, that is fun, and I have the ability to do it.
To tell you the truth, I have many addictions, I love life and I try to be diverse in my physical actions. You can see me out line dancing with my husband, walking around town, performing jumping jacks while out purchasing shoes, or push ups anywhere at anytime. I enjoy life and it shows, I will make anyone laugh, show anyone how to have fun with fitness and support anyone’s goals.
Everyone has their own goals and inspirations. Start small and follow your own.
