Terrace Bay Rebranding Continues
The Township of Terrace Bay is continuing its rebranding plans by offering clothing for sale at the Municipal Office that features the new Terrace Bay logo. Residents have a stock of winter clothing to choose from including hoodies, long sleeve shirts, and toques. Additionally, residents can place an order for a specialized item based on the custom catalogue at the front desk and it will arrive within 2-3 weeks. Municipal staff were given the opportunity to purchase clothing with the new logo in October so the Township could determine which colours and styles might look the best. For example, clothing that is red is not a great fit due to the red border around the logo. All of the clothing products have been purchased from Hollywood Filanes Sportwear which is working with the Township to offer a wide variety of products to show off the new logo. CAO Carmelo Notarbartolo says “the feedback so far from the community about the clothing has been very positive and we are thinking this is a great way to show off our community pride.” In Spring 2011, the Municipality will start offering warmer weather products for sale at the Municipal office with the small stock being based on the season. The Township is also considering holding a contest for catchy advertising slogans for the clothing.
