HIGHWAY 17 N, ON – December 30th, artist Laura Lee Comeau was travelling and could not resist capturing these images of one of many salt trucks she saw while driving, “out in force” as she described them, in anticipation, she guessed, of the snows the Northshore is currently expecting. As temperatures dropped today fog was terrible, in Manitouwadge Kiwissa Ski Centre was closed due to poor visibility caused by the fog, on the highway, especially near Terrace Bay and Schreiber, Comeau reported the visibility as next to none “About 50yrds when lucky”.

Thanks to Laura for her great photos, to see her art, visit her website at www.LauraComeauArt.com
