STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED
NIPIGON, ON –During the weekend of February 11 to February 13, 2011 Nipigon/Schreiber Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) issued 25 Provincial Offence Notices and responded to 23 calls for service. Officers conducted one R.I.D.E. check and investigated one motor vehicle collision.
Saturday February 12 at approximately 8:15 a.m. a Terrace Bay resident reported to Schreiber OPP that his vehicle was stolen sometime during the night. Thunder Bay OPP recovered the outstanding sport utility vehicle in Thunder Bay a short time after it was reported stolen. Schreiber OPP continue to investigate the theft, no charges have been laid at this time.
