Did you miss the Kinghorn rail to trail project open house in Thunder Bay and Nipigon? You are invited to an Open House on Tuesday March 29th at the MacGregor Recreation Centre in Shuniah to discuss the proposed Kinghorn rail to trail project. Your feedback is welcome. This project is focused on the potential conversion of 111 km of abandoned CN rail line between Nipigon and Thunder Bay to become a multi-use recreational trail. This would include the possible use of the Pass Lake Trestle, built in 1916 – an impressive structure at 2280 feet across and 130 feet high.
