Schreiber Students Receive Scrament of Confirmation

SCHREIBER, ON – Sunday, March 27, 2011 a very important milestone was achieved by Grade 7 students from Holy Angels Roman Catholic School and Schreiber Public School as they successfully celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation. The students have been preparing for this special occasion by deepening their understanding of their faith and experiencing the true meaning of being Stewards of Christ through various activities throughout the year. The celebration was officiated by Bishop Fredrick Colli, Father Alex, and Father Ronald. It was enjoyed by the sponsors of the candidates, family and friends, and the large congregation in attendance. The students received certificates and gifts from both the staff at Holy Angels Catholic School and the Catholic Woman’s League. Following the celebration, everyone was invited to the Schreiber Recreation Centre where they enjoyed a wonderful luncheon, compliments of the Catholic Women’s League.
