The Dimestore Fishermen are confirmed to be attending the Township of Red Rock, Ontario June 2-8, 2011 for production of a feature episode of The Dimestore Fishermen outdoor television program.

CALGARY, AB Host & Producer Jim Hoey says, “We are very proud to be attending the Red Rock Fish & Game Club’s 16th Annual Trout Fishing Derby on Lake Superior. This is a proud Canadian community that is excited about having us attend and this is super! On our program, we focus on the historical, recreational and cultural aspects of the communities we visit as well as featureing some of the premiere watersheds and fisheries in the region we are visiting. for many production seasons now, Northwestern Ontario has been a staple for our program. We have driven the North superior Highways many times. I have often said to our team that Red Rock and the region it resides in is one of the most scenic in all of Canada. Now we get to visit our friends in Red Rock and I am excited to get to know and spend time with the people who live in this community.”
Red Rock is a vibrant community located 100 km east of Thunder Bay in Northwestern Ontario. Named for the large red cuesta between Red Rock and Nipigon, Red Rock offers breathtaking scenery including rugged cliffs, verdant forests and sparkling rivers.
