Elementary Softball Tournament in Dorion

DORION, ON – June 16th teams of girls and boys, made up of a group of  24 players from St.Hilary School and Red Rock Public School,  participated in the Annual Three- pitch Ball Tournament hosted by Dorion Public School. After two weeks of practice, both teams were ready for competition.  The teams won all games prior to the playoff games and won the Gold Medal in the final round of play against St. Edward’s  School of Nipigon. Five elementary schools from the immediate area participated in the day- long event.  Coach Brandi Robbins, Red Rock Public, assisted by Claire Richard (St.Hilary’s) were equally proud of the skills and sportsmanship shown by the group.
