NUMEROUS MISCHIEFS IN GERALDTON
GERALDTON, ON – July 22, 2011, numerous mischiefs in the form of grafitti were reported to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment. Many residences and businesses had been spray painted with black spray paint with the letters “H.S.B.” and “Hillside Brotherz.”
Police investigation revealed two youths, a 15 year old and a 14 year old both from Fort Hope First Nation Territory as responsible for the grafitti. The youths cannot be idenified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Both have been charged with Mischief Under $5000.
August 2, 2011, Greenstone OPP again received numerous complaints from home owners and business owners with additional complaints of grafitti. Some of the addresses it was the second and/or third time they had been vandalized in the past 2 weeks. This new rash of grafitti was “K.O.C..” and “Kingz of Chaos” in blue spray paint.
