RED ROCK, ON – The Community of Red Rock is please to announce the grand Re-Opening of the Red Rock Recreation Centre in Red Rock on September 1, 2011. The Recreation Centre has seen many improvements and changes this summer 2011.
The improvements include new paint throughout the lobby and arena spaces of the building and the relocation of the weight room. The weight room has been moved to a much larger space and now has a beautiful view of the water front. The weight room has also been freshly painted and a new floor has been installed. Other improvements include new ventilation and dehumidifiers in the Gyven Boudreau Memorial Arena, new boiler system, siding, roofing and refurbished bowling alley.
The Township of Red Rock is pleased that Micheal Gravelle,Thunder Bay-Superior North MPP and Minister of Northern Development Mines and Forestry will be in attendance to celebrate the improvements to the Recreation Centre.
All Red Rock residents are welcome to come to the Recreation Centre on
Thursday September 1st from 1 – 3pm
to see the enhancements. Donna’s Lakeview Diner will be catering the event serving sandwiches, desserts and coffee.
