MANITOUWADGE, ON– Friday, September 16th, 2011 OntarioNewsNorth.com proudly sponsored the 2011 Algoma-Manitoulin Candidates’ Night at Manitouwadge High School auditorium and Broadcast Live online with a live chat through which people could (and did) ask their questions. In attendance at the auditorium were, for the most part, Manitouwadge residents but there were some others, for example Dino Torini travelled from White River to query the candidates during the question and answer period.

The event was organized and promoted by volunteer Natalie Labbee (Town Councilllor). Moderator Al Cresswell, News Director and Morning Show Host on CFNO.fm (93.1, 107.1, 100.7) who volunteered and did a great job of keeping the Candidates to their time and ensuring questions were kept succint and non-attackive. Sheldon Plummer (Town Councillor) volunteered as time keeper, watching the clock and letting Candidates’ know when they were nearing their time.
