Looking through the scheduled New Releases, October is shaping up to be the biggest month since we’ve opened! Some movie titles that we can look forward to seeing include, Fast Five, Horrible Bosses, Green Lantern, Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides, Zookeeper and MANY more! Gamers can look forward to major titles like Forza 4, Battlefield 3, Just Dance 3, Rage and more (any of which can pre-ordered!).

For now, let’s focus on the last week of September! Here are this weeks (September 27^th) new releases;

NEW RELEASES

Transformers Dark of the Moon: starring Shia LeBouef- RELEASED FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th. The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and to learn its secrets. (Sci-fi/Action) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Inside Out: starring “Triple H”- After being in jail for thirteen years AJ wants nothing more than to live a crime-free life. Unfortunately, within hours of leaving prison, his friend involves AJ in an accidental shooting in which a man is killed, forcing Jack to skip town. (Action) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

The Ledge: starring Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler and Terrance Howard- A police officer looks to talk down a young man lured by his lover’s husband to the ledge of a high rise, where he has one hour to contemplate a fateful decision. (Drama) (DVD)

Dead Cert: When a group of London gangsters refuse to sell their club to a group of businessmen, the gangsters quickly discover that the businessmen are actually vampires who now want revenge. (Horror) (DVD)

Safety Glass: starring Steve Coogan and Hillary Duff- A reporter is sent to cover the Challenger Space Shuttle launch only to become mixed up in the lives of some local students. (Drama) (DVD)

True Legend: Soon after retiring from his life as a Qing Dynasty General, A man must return to action to save his son who has been kidnapped by his vengeful brother. (Martial Arts/Action) (DVD)

Waking Madison: starring Elizabeth Shue- A woman suffering from multiple personality disorder tries to piece back together her life. (Drama) (DVD)

FOR THE GAMERS:

Cabela’s Big Game Hunter 2012: An all new hunting game from the incredibly popular Cabela’s series. The game’s designer promises that 2012 is the most realistic version yet, with even more guns to choose from and more animals to hunt! Buy the software only or get it with the shooter! Available for 360, PS3 and WII.

X-Men Destiny: Based on the X-Men series, Destiny puts players in the role as mutants who join the X-Men or the Brotherhood of Mutants. From there, they must make difficult decisions that ultimately affect the outcome of their character. Available for 360, PS3, and WII.

Fifa Soccer 12: Another year of soccer action from Fifa! The 2012 version features many in-game upgrades including; Impact Engine, Tactical Defending, and Precision Dribbling. Available for 360, PS3 and WII.

NHL12 TOURNEY UPDATE

The NHL 12 tournament has been postponed until we are able to re-schedule an official date. Unfortunately there were not enough entries by the deadline for the gaming tournament to take place. We thank the Marathon Theatre for their interest/efforts in partnering with Crossover Video to offer this unique gaming opportunity to Northshore residents. SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS SNACKS

We’ve added to our already popular and obscure line of candy products! New items include Wonka Scrumdiddlyumptious Bar(milk chocolate, toffee, peanuts and cookie dough pieces), Almond Joy (chocolate, coconut and almonds) and Jelly Belly Bean Boozled (a mixture of delicious flavours and not so delicious flavours like Skunk Spray, Moldy Cheese and Pencil Shavings!). The Jelly Belly Bean Boozleds are a great source of laughs to share with friends and family!
