MANITOUWADGE, ON – Nite on the Town Entertainment Series (NOTES) has a great reputation for offering Manitouwadge residents first-class performers to enjoy.  Most recently, series goers enjoyed The Good Lovelies, a Juno Award winning Canadian trio who have shared their talents, on the road about 150 days a year, with fans around the Globe.  This of course left attendees eager for the next scheduled show, February 5th when Serena Ryder is slated to take the stage and wow the audience (tickets for this show are going fast and may likely sell-out, get yours today at the Sears Depot/Echo Office in Manitouwadge), the only disappointment, that this meant there would be 3 months between NOTES shows.

NOTES Chair and the volunteer responsible for booking and scheduling of the series Natalie Labbee is always seeking out opportunities to add to the NOTES Line-up or Arts & Entertainment opportunities to share with her community.  Labbee was thrilled to announce NOTES would welcome the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra (TBSO) to the Manitouwadge High School stage.

The TBSO has performed in Manitouwadge, last year being welcomed by elementary and secondary school students at daytime shows, unfortunately these have not been widely promoted to the general public.  Thursday, November 24th, NOTES is proud to present the

THUNDER BAY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

This special evening begins at 7pm, at the Manitouwadge High School Auditorium. Attendees are encouraged to wear Black and White, as will the orchestra musicians, there will be decadent desserts offered (hence the title ‘A Decadent Affair’).  Tickets are a very affordable $15/adults, $10/seniors and $5/students and are available at the Sears Depot/The Echo (NOTES tickets are exclusively available there) as well as at the door should their be any extras.

Fort William (Thunder Bay) born guitarist Rodney Brown has enjoyed an illustrious career both as a soloist and in bands, and has previously performed with the TBSO.
