Teams set sights on Manitouwadge
MANITOUWADGE, ON – Get ready for two days of exciting action in sports! Teams from the East, West and Central divisions of NSSSAA are set to arrive in Manitouwadge beginning Tuesday. Basketball will be played on Wednesday and Volleyball contested on Thursday. Come out and enjoy the games and cheer on your team. Below is the schedule for both days.
WEDNESDAY-BASKETBALL
- 9am – JUNIORS – NipRock vs Trillium
- 10:30 – SENIORS – NipRock vs Hornepayne
- 12:00 (noon) – JUNIORS – St. Joseph vs NipRock
- 1;30 – SENIORS – Marathon vs NipRock
- 3:00 – JUNIORS – Trillium vs St. Joseph
- 4:30 – SENIORS – Hornepayne vs Marathon
THURSDAY-VOLLEYBALL
- 9am – SENIORS – Wolverines vs Chapleau
- 10:30 – JUNIORS – Wolverines vs GCHS Knights
- 12-Noon – SENIORS – LSHS vs Wolverines
- 1:30 – JUNIORS – GCHS vs Hornepayne
- 3pm – SENIORS – Chapleau vs LSHS
- 4:30 – JUNIORS – Hornepayne vs Wolverines
- 6pm (18h) SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
MHS Canteen will be open Wed & Thurs.
- Wednesday Lunch is Grilled Cheese,
- Thursday is Pizza.
- Sandwiches, chili, hot dogs and a variety of other items will be available.
