ROSSPORT, ON – Recently, the Rossport Tourism Association decided to replace their old highway signs with new signage at the east and west entrances of Rossport continuing their village’s exposure to travellers on Highway 17. The Rossport Business/Island signs have been erected at the east entrance of Rossport at the Rossport Park & at the west entrance on the Community Hall. These signs list all the businesses & points of interest in and around Rossport including a detailed map of the Rossport Islands.
The Rossport Tourism Association was able to have the new signage erected thanks to funds accessed with assistance from the Local Initiatives Contribution Program of the Superior North Community Futures Development Corporation and FedNor.
