MANITOUWADGE, ON – Mrs. Milks Junior and Senior Kindergarten classes from Our Lady of Lourdes School began their winter skating schedule this week.  The students will enjoy ice time every week through the winter months, and if the first day was a fair preview the 3-6 yr olds are sure to be skating circles around their parents and teachers by the end of the season.  Mrs. Milks had waited to announce the frequency of their skate times until having seen whether her large class of 21 was comprised of children that would enjoy the time, she was pleased to see them all having a great time, even the novice skaters putting in great efforts to stay vertical and practice their skills. If you have skates or helmets in good condition (helmets must be CSA approved), consider donating them to the school, there are always friends who could put them to good use!

OLOL Parents are reminded that tomorrow is anti-bullying day at the school and they are welcome to join in the afternoon’s special activities with their children.
