TERRACE BAY, ON – Friday, October 7th 2011 the staff, students and parents of St. Martin School celebrated their first monthly First Friday Prayer Service with a Liturgy based on the Virtue of Empathy.
Following this celebration Father Raul was invited forward to bless a mural that was painted by a staff member, Pat Maenpaa. This mural was created in memorial of the previous school Trustee of St. Martin School, Mr. Tom Falzetta. It was a beautiful opportunity for staff, students, parents, as well as several members of Tom’s family to remember a wonderful man who played a very important role at St. Martin School for 12 years.
The mural has been hung above the gym and is visible to every person who walks through the doors of St. Martin School and will serve as a tribute to an amazing man who is dearly missed.
