LONGLAC, ON – December 19, 2011, a search warrant was executed by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Greenstone Detachment at a residence in Longlac. Three people were arrested and charged. As a result of the warrant, a small quantity of marihuana and over 50 oxycodone was seized, a street value of over $2000.
Bradley SAWRY, 37, of Longlac,Ontario is charged with possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was subsequently released to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Longlac on January 25, 2012.
Carla GIRARD, 27, of Longlac is charged with possession of a controlled substance. She is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Longlac on January 25, 2012.
Ernest (Joe) GAMBLIN, 54, of Longlac is charged with:
- possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- 5 counts of breach of recognizance.
Gamblin was remanded into custody and had an appearance in bail court Thursday December 29th, 2011.
