Manitouwadge Public School News

MANITOUWADGE, ON – Oh no!!! There was a very colorful snake found in a Manitouwadge Public School classroom recently.  Building the snake was part of the Kindergarten class’ method of measuring in mathematics.

The students wasted no time using the snake as an object for education. Students determined that its length was nine Junior or Senior Kindergarten students long by laying next to their creation on the floor.   The cute little faces sticking out of the box in the picture above are not being sent away in the mail – they are just having fun inside the great big box which will be transformed into a snow castle during the next few days.

Counting, building and learning  – three of the many fun and productive aspects of our classrooms at Manitouwadge Public School.
