WAWA, ON – The 2012 Wawa Winter Carnival Parade is gearing up to be very exciting.!
The theme for this year is “Medieval Times” and we invite everyone who is interested in putting in a float or walking or driving in the parade to dress up, decorate and most of all have fun! Remember, this year we are having the parade in the evening so be sure to carry flashlights or glow sticks and decorate your entry with lights to add pizzazz! We will begin lining up on Government Road by the Lady Dunn Health Centre at 5:00 PM. Please don’t be late, judging will be taking place between 5:00 -5:30 PM. We hope to get the parade started down Broadway Avenue no later than 5:45 PM where we will continue down Mission Road and end up at the Michipicoten Memorial Community Centre at the west end by the bonfire area. Here we will announce the winners and start the Carnival Weekend off with a BANG!!!
