MANITOUWADGE, ON – February 8, 2012 approximately 4:30 pm members of the Manitouwadge Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) accompanied the Children’s Aid Society (CAS) to a residence in Manitouwadge to assist with an investigation.
While in the residence, OPP officers observed Ridge ZOTTER, 22 years old, of Manitouwadge in an intoxicated state and therefore breaching several of his release conditions.
ZOTTER was arrested and held for a bail hearing. He was charged with Breaching an Undertaking (x4), Assault, Possession for the Purpose of a Schedule 1 Controlled Drug and Substance and Breach of Probation. ZOTTER was remanded into custody and will appear before a Justice of the Peace on February 13, 2012.
