TERRACE BAY, ON– The perseverance, commitment and dedication of the St. Martin boys and girls basketball teams finally came to fruition at the annual round robin basketball tournament on April 13th.
Boys teams faced off at Lake Superior High School where St. Martin’s team won all but one game while the girls played at Terrace Bay Public School remaining undefeated throughout. After years of being the underdog St. Martin’s basketball teams’ hard work and dedication paid off as coaches Robin Gordon, Mandy Godin and Lisa Sek led their teams to claim the coveted first place!
Congratulations to all students who participated for their sportsmanlike behaviour and great efforts.
