Correction – Incorrect name Released
MARATHON, ON – April 15, 2012 the Marathon Detachment of the Ontario released information on a recovered stolen vehicle and subsequent charges. Originally the name of the female accused that was released by the OPP was incorrect; accused of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 is Melinda ONEILL age 29 of Barrie, Ontario.
Following recovery of the stolen vehicle, also charged was James CANNING, age 31, of Owen Sound,Ontario. The accused male was charged with:
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Flight from Police Officer
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
The OPP apologize to the person originally named in the release and for the release of the incorrect information.
