Terrace Bay Begins Working on Postcards

The Township of Terrace Bay recently began updating its electronic post card system delivered through the Municipal website.  In the PLAY section of the website, visitors are able to click on a post card from one of the four seasons and send it through email to a friend.  The friend receives the email and clicks on the link which then takes them to the Municipal website to see the specific post card.  This feature was integrated into the initial design of the website in partnership with the Township of Schreiber and has received hundreds of visitors.   Chief Administrative Officer Carmelo Notarbartolo says “We really like the electronic post card feature and think it works well with some of our other marketing initiatives targeting regions like Thunder Bay.  It is a way for our residents to show off their Community to family or friends in other cities.”  The Municipality also has plans to produce a printed postcard in the near future.  Municipal staff say that it is one of the most frequently requested promotional products at the Town Office and they are going to be working to offer something shortly.  For more information on the electronic post card system, visit www.terracebay.ca and go to the PLAY section.  The Municipality also reminds residents that if they have any suggestions to improve the post card system they should let Municipal staff know at the Town Office or by posting on the Townships Facebook page.
