What to Expect at this Weekend’s BIGGER ~BETTER~GREENER 2012 Green Tradeshow

TERRACE BAY, ON – Anticipation is building for the 2012 Green Tradeshow as exhibitors and attendees look forward to all the tradeshow has to offer.  Just a few days left, the 2012 Green Tradeshow takes place :

Saturday, May 5th  from Noon (12pm) to 4pm
Terrace Bay Arena

and features a variety of exhibits and things to see for the whole family.

The headliner for the 2012 Green Tradeshow is the 2012 Chevy Volt, which Terrace Bay dealership Spadoni Motors Ltd is the first dealer certified in Northwestern Ontario to sell the Volt.  Visitors will be able to check out the Volt and discuss it with Spadoni’s friendly sales staff.  The Chevy Volt is an electric vehicle that has a maximum range of 80km on its electric battery; however it has a gas generator with a range of 500km that will kick in if you run out of electricity.  The Chevy Volt has won many awards including Motor Trend 2011 Car of the Year and Consumer Reports rates Volt #1 in Owner Satisfaction.

Another new feature at this year’s tradeshow is the Kids Craft Area which will be run by one of Terrace Bay’s local Crafting experts.  Visitors will utilize various recyclable materials to create cool crafts the kids will enjoy.

The exhibitors as always are the stars of the Green Tradeshow and this year is no different with tables on:

  • heating,
  • renewable energy,
  • natural bath products
  • natural cleaning products,
  • healthy living,

and much more!

There are also some NEW exhibits this year with a big focus being solar power and upcycling which is reusing materials in the creation of new items like jewelry, wind chimes and others.

The Kids Corral Child Care Centre will be running the food booth again serving up delicious menu options.

The 2012 Green Tradeshow will also feature many prizes and giveaways from exhibitors including the

GRAND PRIZES

  • Electric lawn mower, graciously donated by Terrace Bay Home Hardware Building Centre,
  • One ton of wood pellets donated by Lacwood Industries.

ADMISSION

To the 2012 Green Tradeshow is $2 or a non-perishable food donation (the latter is preferred) to help the North Shore Harvest Food Cupboard.  Spadoni Motors Ltd. will be lending a truck for a “Fill the Truck” campaign in the hopes of food donations overflowing from visitors.
