SCHREIBER, ON – Students in the Superior North Catholic School Board have been celebrating Catholic Education and Ontario Education Week this week, May 6-11 with a variety of special activities.
During Education Week at Holy Angels School, Mrs.Roy and her Grade 5/6 class celebrated cultural diversity. Parents and friends were invited to take part in recognizing our roots and cultural differences. Students shared with each other memorabilia from their families, literature, music and delicious food samples. They also made a personal flag and played various games from around the world! Among the cultures shared were Italian, Polish, Irish, French, German, First Nations, Flemish and Ukrainian. A great educational time was had by all!
