MMSPL – Jagerbombers Play Hard To Reclaim 1st But Brokerlink Remains On Top

MARATHON, ON – It was a close game at Dyers’ Field tonight but in the end Pic River’s Jagerbombers edged out the first place Brokerlink by a tight score of 10-8. The Jagerbombers’ Rob Joy hit his 10th homerun of the season while Taylor Angers and Adam McCulloch brought in their share of homeruns for Brokerlink. With tonight’s win, the Jagerbombers improve their record to 11-5 climbing back toward the first place ranking they lost to Brokerlink July 18th. Brokerlink has played hard to remain on top since and remains in first place of the Marathon Mixed Slow-pitch League at 11-3-1.
